I am using a YouTube video as background for the main header in EduCon and it is working well, but the resolution is quite poor for something displayed so large. Is there a way to chose which resolution Youtube should pick to play the video (ie 1080p)?

I updated your SPPB.
But there is no HD video option yet.

If you're in hurry, read: http://thenewcode.com/717/Force-Embedded-YouTube-Videos-To-Play-In-HD
and use RAW HTML addon.

Our developer will check this topic soon closer. It should be possible somehow to force HD mode.

Isn't there a way to modify the embed code and add a resolution parameter?

Hi,
not really, because we use <iframe method in similar way as you can embed code.
