Hi.
Is there a way to replace the search bar with, for example, social buttons?
Also, how to customize the logo size?

Thanks in advance.

Best wishes,
m.d.

Hi Marcin,
Yes, you can. Go to Widgets from Appearance menu. Remove the search widget and place any other widget like Social buttons. You can customize your Logo size from Theme Options under Basic section.
Thanks.

Thank you for your response, I haven't noticed it in "basic" section, now it's all obvious. :)

But, with the Search thing, it's not that simple as in Joomla. Search is not a widget, it's a widget position...
When I add anything it doesn't show (whatever I try to put there). Here's a screenshot:

Any ideas? I tried to find a solution but only thing i managed to do is to set it's visibility as hidden (in css)...

It's a widget position, not a widget itself, you can put anything there and it doesn't appear. Only "search" is visible...

Hi Marcin,
You are right search is not a widget itself. It's a widget position. It's a position like other widgets. You can place any widgets you want. We have created the position because many user's like to place a search bar in the top right. If you don't like it then feel free to make it blank. You can also use social icons there.

Thanks

Hi Liton,
That's the problem - try to put any widget in the search position - nothing shows. This is probably a bug.
Could I add my own widget position in the header to put social icons there? If yes - where should I do it?

Thanks

Hi Marcin,

I have tested few times. It's working. "search" is a widget position not a widget it's own. So, nothing would be problem like this. Please inspect placing other widgets like pages, categories or some social icons. But first of all please re-download our latest version of WordPress Helix-II plugin and try again.

Thanks

Similar problem here: searchbar is not visible (joomla 2.5). When going to "Extensions-Templates-Templates" and clicking on "Preview" (where it shows all positions), it is there, but not in the actual website. Funny...
