Good time! Bought a template Shaper_awetive. Installed from Quick Launch. When updating, all style edits disappear.

Thanks for your reply. Please let me know one thing. Did you turn off the less compile from template manager when you have written the CSS code? And where did you write the CSS code previously?

edits were made to the template files. give a screenshot please turn on / off.
Now I am editing through an additional file custom.css

Hi there,

Maybe you were edited the template.css file after turned off the less compile & after the update, it reset the template default style. So, you should write the custom.css file or theme.less file. But, if you update the template then template reset if you edit the less or template.css file. Rather than you should write down CSS code inside the custom.css file.
