The MegaMenu allows the flexibility of displaying a Joomla Module (like a menu module) as an element of the menu, however when you pull in a menu module it just displays the menu as a bulleted list - and not like the rest of the styling from the MegaMenu. Is there a class suffix that needs to be used to get the module to display like the rest of the MegaMenu? I've tried all of the styles displayed out of Chrome's Dev Tools. ie.

sp-dropdown
sp-dropdown-main
sp-dropdown-mega
sp-dropdown-inner
sp-megamenu-parent

I'm trying to split up a very complex menu structure into smaller chunks so it's easier to manage, but none of them will style the Joomla Menu Module like the rest of the MegaMenu.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Actually you can't use any predefined classes there. You need to use your own css for that to accomplish.

Note: custom support is beyond our support range

Hi,
Thanks for your query. Sorry if you insert a menu module as mega menu it won't get the menu style by default. You need to use your custom style for that.

Sifat,

Yes, I realize that I would need to use a custom style for that and was attempting to utilize the predefined Helix styles already in the system (ie. sp-dropdown, sp-dropdown-main, sp-dropdown-mega, sp-dropdown-inner, sp-megamenu-parent) but they aren't working. I was looking for some guidance on how to implement those already created classes. I've looked in the Helix documentation and there's no instructions on how to style a Joomla module in the MegaMenu and get the styles to match.

Thank you. That's what I needed to know. I won't go so far as to ask why I can't use predefined styles already present on the page - I assume it's something inherent in how the MegaMenu was coded - but thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I'll take a look into creating identical classes within the available custom.css file.
