Hi,

I use Helix ultimate for a new website and want to have the menu over on the image.

This is easy to put the image in a module and give it a margin top of -80px. And after that set the background of the #sp-header to none.

However when I scroll down I want a white background of the menu ( the #sp-header ) . I only want the menu to be on top of the photo on opening but when you scroll down it needs to be white.

How can I arrange this easily in Helix ultimate? Hope you understand what I mean.. :)

Hi there,

Add this css code inside custom.css file.

#sp-header {
background: transparent;
height: 90px;
left: 0;
position: absolute;
top: 20px;
width: 100%;
z-index: 99;
}
#sp-header.header-sticky {
position: fixed;
z-index: 9999;
background: #444756;
box-shadow: 0 3px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.05);
top: 0px;
}

Hi ,

I mean a menu bar like this website

http://demo.joomshaper.com/2017/melvin/

You see the menu on top of the image ... and when you scroll down.. you see a background color.
Do you see what I mean?

How can I create this effect with helix ultimate?

Hi,

normally the backgroud color of my menus is white an when i scroll down it is in red.
Now i have the problem with the colors of the menus. The link color is in black, you can see this in the pictures.

When i scroll down the background color is red an i will have the color of den main menus in wihte but the sub menus like the orginal. More in the pictures.

In the second picture you can see the submenus. There i will have the main color of the menu in white.

Sorry, but my english is not the best, i hope you see what i mean.

Hi there,

Added this css code inside the custom.css file. Now your issue solved.

.header-sticky #sp-menu a {
color: #ffffff;
}
.header-sticky #sp-menu a:hover {
color: #000;
}
.sp-dropdown ul li a {
color: #000 !important;
}
.sp-dropdown ul li a:hover {
color: #ff0000 !important;
}
