Just ran Xenu Link Sleuth on one of my websites that's being updated. It spots the following issues with the Tixon template.

Broken links, ordered by link:

http://www.mywebsite.co.uk//templates/shaper_tixon/css/owl.carousel.css
error code: 404 (not found), linked from page(s):
http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/

http://www.mywebsite.co.uk//templates/shaper_tixon/css/owl.transitions.css
error code: 404 (not found), linked from page(s):
http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/

http://www.mywebsite.co.uk//templates/shaper_tixon/css/slide-animate.css
error code: 404 (not found), linked from page(s):
http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/

http://www.mywebsite.co.uk//templates/shaper_tixon/js/owl.carousel.min.js
error code: 404 (not found), linked from page(s):
http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/

http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/templates/shaper_tixon/images/helix-logo-white.png
error code: 404 (not found), linked from page(s):
http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/templates/shaper_tixon/css/template.css

5 broken link(s) reported

First four issues look to be caused by the "//" in the path.

Last issue is down to the image file either being missing or the reference to it should have been removed from template.css.

Uninstalled Tixon and reinstalled with the latest Template package but made no difference.

Any advice on tracking this one down to fix?

Thanks.

Should have added this is the home page source:

Hi,
question:
1) have you added site URL into configuration.php ,
if yes, check if you added "/" after co.uk domain - there should be without it
-----
2) Have you edited .htaccess somehow?

Hello Paul,

Thank you for your reply.

1. No

2. .htaccess never manually modified - bog standard Joomla .htaccess with some additional changes made by the Security Check Pro plugin (https://securitycheck.protegetuordenador.com/).

Did you notice .png image is either missing from the template ZIP file or incorrectly referenced in the template.css file?

Thanks

John

Just updated the Tixon template through the Joomla updater.

We previous discussed an issue:
https://www.joomshaper.com/forums/page-builder-2-4-4-is-now-compatible-with-joomla-3-7-and-jce-2-6-12#reply-91415

The feature and latest_post folders and files are back in the SP addon folder for the template.

I deleted the feature folder again, as it was causing the same problem as listed above. Have renamed the latest_post folder for the moment as I'm not using that functionality on the website.

The question to ask: should these have been removed from the template installer to prevent this bug coming back? Something for JoomShaper to change in the next release?
