To install our News-III quick start pack sample content, please make sure that when you arrive to the "Overview" stage of the quick start pack installation process, you select the 'Default English (GB) Sample Data' option for the 'Install Sample Data' parameter (see the screenshot attached below). It is the only option selecting which will install the News-III quick start pack sample content for you.

Thank you sir for that is the exact method i used to install mine sucessfully. But here is the error I got after installation when I click on the following menus: WORLD,US, ASIA, AFRICA, EUROPE, AUSTRALIA AND MIDDLE EAST. you experience these error message, "Fatal error: Call to undefined method JDate::toMySQL() in /home/societyheraldcom/public_html/templates/shaper_news_iii/html/com_k2/templates/default/category.php on line 118" . How do I solve this issue?

I am glad to see my tip helped you to install News-III.
To get rid of those fatal errors when you call up K2 categories, please go to /templates/shaper_news_iii/html/ and rename the com_k2 folder to something like com_k2_NOTRWORKING. See how it goes.
