Yes - only by custom CSS, you have to manually define font style for selected HTML tags or classes. Same as it would be in a static HTML website.
No - custom font won't be visible in select options in Typography of Helix nor SPPB

ad 1) Those dots are from the menu, and the menu is <li> list and by default it has dots. Use Custom CSS to hide them, you are good in this as you mentioned, right.
To be honest, I don't understand why you published this menu anyway. Yes, there is menu in "menu" position.

ad 2) Again basic custom CSS

.sp-megamenu-parent {float: left; }

You have to be VERY TIRED. Maybe take a hammock, walk to the near park and take a nap between nature. Good advice, no offense.

I don’t understand what you are trying to do on your site. Doesn't look like good css knowledge.
For what is now on your site, this code is meaningless and completely does not work.
This code is for the icon, if the menu item has a drop-down menu. But you don’t have a dropdown menu anywhere

By default is

that's why I suggest using

.sp-megamenu-parent {float: left; }
