1. SP Weather (Module)
  2. Thursday, 30 August 2018
Hi!

SP Weather stopped working today, we are getting error messages no matter what city we put in:
Cannot get London location id in module mod_sp_weather. Please also make sure that you have inserted city name.

You demo is doing the same thing too....Can you look into this please?

Thank you,

Catherine

Hi,
Please open the following file from the location: /modules/mod_sp_weather/helper.php on 40 no line you will get:

$this->location = str_replace(' ', '', $this->params->get('location', 'Dhaka,BD'));

Replace it by:

$this->location = str_replace(', ', ',', $this->params->get('location', 'Dhaka,BD'));

- Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for your query, Yahoo weather API sometimes makes trouble due to their development purpose. In this case, you will need to clear the cache. We also used this same module in our latest template here: http://demo.joomshaper.com/2018/gazette/index.php/en/ it's working perfectly.

- Thanks for being with us

Now it's all ok ... api work ... just one thing: cities with 2 or more words do not work ... in my case I need the city of "Las Rosas, AR" ... OpenWeatherMap recommends using the ID of the city ... could you tell me how to place a city of 2 names ???

{
"id": 3847836,
"name": "Las Rosas",
"country": "AR",
"coord": {
"lon": -61.58041,
"lat": -32.476608
}
},

Thanks, Gonzalo
