1. SP Tab Module
  2. Friday, 27 October 2017
Hi!

I would like to customize the style2 of SP TAB so that the background would be transparent (as in style5). Obviously it can be done but i don't know where to look.

I tried to customize the "custom" style by setting the header color and the navigation border color to transparent but I am not allowed to do this.

Please tell me how could I do this.

Best regards,

Catalin

Relax, you can update styles in module css file, this module is not updated so often, even I can say very rare.
All you have to is .. after all CSS code changes - change file permission from 644 to 444, so none update will not override it in future.

You can do this same with other files from that module.

Hi Paul!

Sorry for the late reply, first the weekend and then visiting some clients for 2 hours and driving 10 hours to get to them! :(

Thank you, I'll give it a try and get back to you.

Best regards,

Catalin

In next 2 weeks should stable SPPB Pro 3.0 - with more possibilities. So maybe you can forget about "old" modules.

Hmmm... There was a TAB add-on already so it seems there will be something even better in SPPB Pro 3.0. i downloaded the beta by I didn't have the time to test it (sorry about this! :( ).

The idea is that we more or less redesign our website but we try to make it mobile friendly with as little alterations to the existing pages as possible. For the moment we focus on other issues now in order to have it up and running ASAP. Redesigning all the product pages usin SPPB is on our "second step" list - create a page template that we'll use for all the products' pages. But first things first! :)

Thank you for your help: I modified the css file and I was able to style the module the way I wanted. However, knowing that it is not a good idea to modify the module's css files (for obvious reasons) dare ask you if it wouldn't be possible to create/modify a custom.css file somewhere. in the folder you mentioned there is a custom.css file but it didn't work.

Can you suggest anything?

Best regards,

Catalin
