Hi,
Once you have tags and some tagged items you can display a portfolio in the front end in several ways.

1. Using Menu Manager you can create a menu link that displays portfolio items.
2. You can use the SP Simple Portfolio module.

If you linked your portfolios to a menu then you can find layout options inside the menu item:

If you used the module to show portfolios then you can edit the layout inside the module itself! Please see the screenshot:

You may edit the sp simple portfolio items from Components>SP Simple Portfolio>Items
https://prnt.sc/qja9zr
https://prnt.sc/qjaalu

Hope these instructions help!

Hi,
The last portion of my previous reply was about editing sp simple portfolio:

You may edit the sp simple portfolio items from Components>SP Simple Portfolio>Item
Please click on title and edit them at the backend...

hi rashida!

sorry but my question is not about editing the simple details of a portfolio in backend as you wrote.
i want to click on the green button "Edit With SP Page Builder" (see https://imgur.com/a/CcX0pgw) and then edit the "simple portfolio page" in backend and NOT as it is at the moment to edit in frontend and also NOT to edit the overview of the "simple portfolio page" as you mentioned in your last post.

that was and is the only issue of my question.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay response!
I am really unsure about what else you want to edit.
Clicking on the title of the portfolios you can edit image, description, url...all from there:
https://prnt.sc/qqvv69
https://prnt.sc/qqvqw9
Apology if I don't get it right...

And there is no such default option that can take you to the backend with sp page builder as sp simple portfolio needs category to link it to the menu or module!
You have to use the Joomla administrator panel to edit.

Hi Daniel,

I came across your questions about editing the portfolio details pages because I had the same one. I've figured it out, so I wanted to let you know as well.

If your portfolio is like mine, you have {loadmodule mod_sppagebuilder,Portfolio - Details} in the Description box of your SP Simple Portfolio items. That is what is pulling the portfolio details page that I think you're talking about.

screenshot-1.png

To edit that, you need to go to Extensions > Modules and edit the Portfolio - Details module. By editing that, you'll edit the portfolio details page.

To have a different portfolio details page for each item in your portfolio, you can copy that module, then change the text in the Description box of your portfolio item to match. For example, if you copy that module and name the copy "Resume" then the text in your portfolio description item box should be {loadmodule mod_sppagebuilder,Resume}

Let me know if that helps!

I have exactly the same problem. I want to edit the DETAILS of the item in the backend - so if I am in the backend, then go to component SP Simple Portfolio, I choose an item, and the EDIT that item - I cannot see the details of the item, i.e. the SP PageBuilder details (only the description) - if I go to SP PageBuilder I also cannot see the page relating to the SP Simple Portfolio details - so where do I change the DETAILS for the portfolio item? I have now spent 2 hours trying to figure that out.

See enclosed images as an example from the Indigo template, for Portfolio Item ID 3:

Hi all,
Only frontend editing is available for the texts once you have enabled integration for the sp simple portfolio within sp page builder pro.
Backend editing is not available.
Thanks for understanding!
