Now I got a different problem.

When I make the rectangle thumb smaller (300x200), the layout gets spoiled, with too much space between the images. As per settings, the max number of columns is 4, but what I need is smaller thumbs for not columns can be used.

Can we increase the number of columns?

thanks

Hi Gustavo,

We designed SP Simple Portfolio to display its items in 2, 3 or 4 columns only. How those set by you columns pan out to your own taste on your particular web-page can to certain extend be adjusted by the respective CSS styles but we don't provide support for such customisation.

You can play with those CSS styles simply pointing your mouse cursor to the element to be styled, right click on it and then click on the "Inspect element" menu. Then play with CSS styles, displayed on the right hand side, to see right away how your changing a CSS rule and its value would effect that element.

Sorry, this way the control is not flexible at all, because if you change the size of the images the layout is gone. Said that, the option of changing the image size is useless, when the control does not adapt as well.

I believe that the line to control the number of columns is this:

<div class="sp-simpleportfolio-items sp-simpleportfolio-columns-<?php echo $params->get('columns', 3); ?>">

Could you please be so nice and guide me to delete the parameter "$params->get('columns', 3)" and add a fixed one, like "6"?

Thanks,

How to adjust this to add 6 columns? I need to replace the parameter by a literal.

I would appreciate when you could point up the right syntax.

Thanks,
