hi

i am trying to set permission for backend access to sp property Components but i am keep getting
Access forbidden.

after a lot of trail i found that only super user can access sp property from backend even if i edit the permission in joomla ACL

also agent group can access backend but only to edit there properties

i want to make manger group to access the backend as super user to add or edit agents and properties using access other joomla Components

Hi,
Thanks for your query. Actually we are working on the ACL(Access Control List) of SP Property. But for now you can set your manager to super admin thus he can access all properties.

Hi,
Thanks for your query. Actually only agent group and super user can access the backend of sp property. No one except them will allow the access. Please check this link https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/joomla-extensions/sp-property#setting-up-agent-profile

i already known that but i need full user access to the backend sp property Components without giving him a full access to other components

the agent access only access his properties even when i change it in joomla ACL to edit all plus he can't access the agents section

Hi there. I think I am having the same issue. Why does setting ACL access to the component still not allow that group access?

This seems cumbersome as only registered agents and super users can access the back end of SP Property and with full access only super admin?

So if I have a manager to manage all the content on the website, and an agent to populate all the content, how will the manager be able to access all the content?

I am assuming different agents cannot edit each others properties and even if they could my manager user cant access the component. It seems I cannot manage user permissions in a saine way using this setup. Instead I am left with the option to elevate the agents group permissions to become a manager? This seems not secure and means all agents will have access they do not need.

Can you help or advise if my summary is allong the right lines? How can a Manager (not super user) get access to all agents properties and at the same time allong with other content on the site to manage it?

I think setting a user group in acl to access the component should allow members of that user group (i.e. Managers) full access to the component so they can manage the content.

Yes I think that would be good. I need a Joomla Manager to have content access to Joomla and see all agents properties.

To be clear;
Super Admin - access to everything ofc.
Manager - access to Joomla content etc via ACL options and access to all agents SP Properties listings.
Agent - access only to own properties.

sorry for the late answer but in my scenario i only got
Super Admin - access to everything ofc.
Manager - access to Joomla content etc via ACL options and access to all agents SP Properties listings.

no Agent access to his own properties

Hi guys,
Thanks for your participation. Actually our current system doesn't only support the property access to super admin and the agents. But don't worry i'm adding your requests to our feature requests list. At least that's what i can do for you. Our developers will take care of that.

Sorry it's still in our feature requests list. After proper R&D our development team will take further decision about that.

Just to clarify the situation then. My client needs to view all properties from all agents and also have access to edit all content. My client is the business manager. In order to do this does my client need super admin? Am I missing somthing?

Hi,
I am glad to hear you are going to get it working correctly with the ACL. I will not however elevate a non essential user to access super admin!
Thank you
