Resolved SP Page builder is not recognizing H1 Heading

Would an add-on override work for them?

So copy the relevant addon folder (or at least the site.php and admin.php files) into templates/your_template_name/sppagebuilder/addon_name then add in a new parameter for "image alt tag" into the admin.php file and add in a bit to output that parameter in site.php?

Just to say that the H1 tag is definitely still there on the 1.9 version of Helix. Just done a clean Joomla install and downloaded/installed the latest Helix template but when selecting TEXT for the logo mode it's still wrapped in an H1 tag:

Thanks but I have to disagree in terms of there being no SEO problem.

H1 tags are one of the more important aspects of SEO so it's vital that we have control over what they are and what they say. In addition, having multiple pages all with the same H1 tag content is very detrimental to SEO as it is means that search engines are unable to properly determine the subject matter of the page. Google for one will negatively impact the SEO of a site if it has multiple pages all with the same H1 tag.

Even if people using the Helix 3 template were to add in there own, more relevant, H1 tag elsewhere on the page this wouldn't improve things and could make them worse as then there are conflicting H1 tags on the page and Google only ever wants there to be a single H1 tag on any given page.

I'd strongly suggest that in the next update you remove the H1 tag from the Logo Text and wrap it in a div instead. This tag can still be styled to *look* like an H1 tag but should not be using an H1 element to display it.

Sorry to keep going on about it but it's just that in my experience it is a vital aspect of SEO would be a shame if the Helix 3 template had a negative impact on site SEO considering that it is such a great template in so many other ways.
