I want a semi transparent background for the Gallery page for the row to have the same look and feel as the home page.
Using the front page editor, the padding and the background appears but not in the actual front end. I set the background in the backend editor but it does nothing.

How can I fix it?

I figured it out how to make it work by combining page class and using the inspector's copy selector function to update my css file.

Hi,
Did you mean you want to make the album image view transparent?
Actually, it's looking quite the same to me, so would you please specify the area of your problem?

And here you go with the code if you want the album of gallery page transparent:

body.view-albums .speasyimagegallery-albums img {
opacity: 90%;
}

You have to put the code into your custom CSS!

Note: Path towards custom CSS:
Extensions>Templates>Styles>
Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options.
Then find custom CSS within the custom code.

That code didn't do anything but please see the attached screenshots. The one with the semi transparent background is what I'd like to achieve. I used the Inspect tool to edit the view but I can't figure out how to call that element in the css.
