Resolved Sorting Images in SP Image Gallery Album

Thanks for your query. Are you sure it happen Simple Image Gallery? I think it SP EASY IMAGE GALLERY. Please check the screenshot if SP EASY IMAGE GALLERY. I have checked my end, working fine.

Hi Toufiq,

It happen with SP Easy Image Gallery. I can sort the images within an album, but since I have 200 Images in there, I don't want to sort them manually by drag & drop, I'd prefer a function to sort by A-Z or by date or ID etc. In the tab "publishing" there's a value "order" but nothing "sort by...".

2.5 years have passed since this post. I can not say that this feature has been built in.
In the current version 1.5.1 (April 2019 - SP Easy Image Gallery) I can not sort the albums and photos by time.
The oldest album is always displayed!
That a sorting is not possible, I have already noticed several plugins.
Can not be so hard to build something like that? It is annoying but extremely that it does not work!
Did I miss something when setting or is it still not possible to sort sequences?

Ok, I have already found sorting by hand. Too bad that it does not work automatically.
The photos in an album also have to be sorted by hand and unfortunately are not aligned by date or file name.

What has also noticed: If in Joomla "search engine friendly URL" is set, then the album overview is displayed correctly search engine friendly. The URL of the photos in it but not.
Example:
Album overview > http://www.domain.lt/medien
Content of the album > http://www.domain.lt/component/speasyimagegallery/my-album?Itemid=533
How can I stop this or where is the error?

Yes, I need this feature too! just add a newest at the top sorting functionality, this should be very easy to program, and it will take your developer less than 1hr to implement.
