what was requested by Torsten, me and many other customers (see https://www.joomshaper.com/forums/redirect-detail-page-to-a-unique-pagebuilder-page) is very simple – unfortunately we haven’t been able to get the idea across. That’s why I write this request to you.
We recommend enhancing SP Simple Portfolio so that it is fully integrated in the SP Page Builder and able to redirect any clicks on the portfolio section to any specific Page Builder page:
- Users have the same look and feel of the SP Simple Portfolio page – They can select categories and click on any shown SP Simple Portfolio item (see #1)
- But – by clicking on a specific SP Simple Portfolio item users will be redirected to any specific SP Page Builder page that was previously selected in the SP Simple Portfolio backend (see #2)
To give you an idea about probable solutions I developed three options for you and your team:
Option 1 – Enhance SP Simple Portfolio Backend
First option could be to enhance the SP Simple Portfolio Backend.
Some recommended features (one or more to be realized) …
- Allow use SP Page Builder Editor instead of Joomla Editor
- Add field External URL to redirect any click to box instead of showing the content of SP Simple Portfolio Item
- Add field Subtitle to put and show more Information in the SP Portfolio boxes
- Add switch to decide whether a click on this SP Simple Portfolio Item should be redirected to External URL or the content provided in Description should be shown (as usual)
Option 2 – Integrate SP Page Builder Editor into SP Simple Portfolio Item
Second option could be to integrate SP Page Builder Editor into SP Simple Portfolio Item – like you already did it in Joomla Articles.
Some recommended features (one or more to be realized) …
- Switch between Joomla Editor and SP Page Builder Editor
- Select an already existing SP Page Builder Page to redirect any click on the SP Simple Portfolio Item to it
- Probably a mixture between Option 1 and Option 2
Option 3 – SP Simple Portfolio Item behaves like a Joomla Menu
Third option could be to make SP Simple Portfolio Item behave like a Joomla Menu Item.
Some recommended features (one or more to be realized) …
- Select an already existing SP Page Builder Page to redirect any click on the SP Simple Portfolio Item to it
- Probably a mixture between Option 1 and Option 3
