Resolved Removal of "Designed by JoomShaper"

Is it correct that I have to pay an additional fee (above the USD49 already paid) before I am able to remove "Designed by JoomShaper" in the footer of every page (Financial News)?

This is not specified or mentioned anywhere on your website, either about removal or how much extra payment is required for removal. I find this rather disturbing. Copyright is still maintained within the source code and I have no problem with that at all. But having my sight design credited to JoomShaper is incorrect.

I have painstakingly designed the layout and appearance of my site, not JoomShaper. I have used some JoomShaper modules and some from other vendors.

My acknowledgement to JoomShaper is retained within the source code and it was attached to the USD49 I paid for the basic empty template.

Can someone from JoomShaper please clarify this.

Hi, purchase of copyright removal license is no longer required.
Here is the step by step tutorial about removing brand info.

Step 1. Copy the "brand.php" file to your templates "features" folder from your "plugins/system/helix/features" folder.
Step 2. Open the "brand.php" with any text editor and edit according to your need.
Step 3. Now save the file and refresh your browser.

I have a similar question as neiloo. I downloaded a free Helix II template from your website and modified the source and css files according to my needs. The layout and style of the website has totally changed. I wanted to ask what are the terms for removing the following line in the bottom of the website:

I can buy a membership from your site, but the thing is I only need just this website. The developed option is too expensive for me and I dont need unlimited site licenses. What should I do?

Purchase of copyright removal license is no longer required but we always like to see our brand link in the website footer for our hard work. If you dont want to give us the credit then you can override the footer.php file by the method mentioned below.

If I pay USD50 for something, that is credit and thanks enough in my view - especially if it's a business website. "Designed by" is not acceptable wording anyway. But thanks, I'm happy now.

There is no brand.php in Helix 2.0.4
I disabled helix logo but the copyright still exists !

Yes it's a hard work and good work but after in our joomla's web site we have many link from devellopper of plugin, module, template, component .... ;)

Kowshar I cant find the designed by loc in my footer.php.. Its just shows the wp_footer function
You mentioned a method here..
well i cant see it.. please help...
