Resolved Red Game of the Day thing

In the demo on the item in the feature-top module position there is a red "Game of the Day" thing on the left of the image. How do I apply that? I am also having trouble getting the padding to work. The text shows up right against the image.

It is better to download quick start pack for demo and see the code with firebug.
