Good morning,

I have to add an additional "gender" field. How can I add for example the term "Other" to this drop-down menu?
In which files do I need to intervene (administrator and site)?

I thank you very much in advance for your answer

Hi,
it would be easier & safer to just hide this field, you can't change the biology of the human race.
Yes, I know that people invented over 60+ genders.
So for them word "other" can be offensive.

Anyway, here is a file which you asked for front-end view:

components\com_spmedical\layouts\specialists\filter.php

admin area, doesn't matter. Only webmaster see it.

Thank you very much for your answer. Above all, the debate should not be about gender, but about adding another field.

However, as the code sample in the attachment shows, if I add an "indifferent" (or anything else, I don't give a damn) field, I have to apply this in another file it seems to me.
Moreover, this new field must also be in the administrator for the doctor's profile.
So, the database is concerned here.

Thanks a lot!
