Resolved News Show SP2: how to define how many articels should be shown

Hello,
i am trying to use News Show SP2 with joomla 3.9.6 to show articles of a category "News" on my home page.
I created category "Events" and added 3 Articles to that category in joomla.
When i now create a module and for category attribute i choose my category "Events" the slider only shows 2 articles even if all articles are published and valid.

Strange: when i choose "3" for rows in "Article Layout" it shows all three events in the (only) slide. So the module seems to read all articles, but only slides 2 articles.

Anybody out there who can explain this?

Hi Marco,
but as you might notice, this module wasn't updated for a long time, and soon won't be.
So I cannot deliver you any duct tape php solution. Find the replacement. Sorry.

Hi Paul,

i appreciate your answer about this old module - thank you!

I found it a cool and easy module. Not easy to find something out there like this i think.
But ok - will have to fixit on my own or find another one. Will be a hard job.
