Resolved My search box doesn't look like the template

Hi,

I'm trying to sort out the search box on my Awetive template but it is not aligned and doesn't look the same as the website's demo version. Can you please help? I have attached a screen shot to show you my problem.

Hi Paul,

Your search box seems in need of some padding at the top. If you give me your site URL, I may be able to pull it down for you.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm working on localhost at the moment. Trying to get everything right. Its not just the padding. It's the white border and no magnifying glass icon. Anymore help would be most welcome. I looked at the padding but padding would be for the menu and search box as it's all in one . Would there be a way to pad just the search box?

I've just figured out why it's not showing correctly. I'm using smart search not the standard search on my website as it is a resources website. So, will I have to use standard search to make it view correctly? or can anything be done about this? Let me know. Thanks
