1. Helix-II

Hello guys!
I have managed to install the Helix II, now enjoying setting it up, learning new things etc.
So, my first question concerns the documentation for the Helix II Template. Is there something? Or you will have to answer stupid questions all the time :)

Here is the first SP (stupid question): how does Layout builder work? I have created new modules, but how can I create new postions for these modules? Should I place new modules in the existing positions?...

The second SP: I think it's connected with the SP1 - see attach. The right column of the position "USER 4" is "defect".. Why?

Would appreciate quick support

Dear Kowshar,

As I already mentioned earlier, there is still a problem with the position "user4", I cant resolve it - the content in this moduld is for no reason displayed as "linked" text. I looked in Firebug and saw, that smth is wrong :-) I cant explain it correct. Please, look at screenshot.
Note: there is no link in the text inside the module.

WOuld appreciate ur tipps

SORRY! I SOLVED IT :D I have not closed (/a) in the prevoius module.

I think I got it! THANK YOU! I set the style also to sp_flat.
But the first module on the position "kurs1" is not displayed! I cant understand, I checked everything 10 times, all modules have the same settings (except positions) but this first module is not there...

If I put it on the position "kurs2" it is displayed, but the "kurs1" is problem. Other modules are not displayed also when bieing on this position "kurs1". Whats can it be?

You question is bit confusing. Well, please add custom row class as container and save the layout.

ok, where? on the backend? I did it.

I have created two new raws and returned again user1-user4.

So I created accordingly 6 new positions in templateDetails.xml

In one new raw I have created 3 modules and in another one 3 more modules. I called them kurs1 - kurs6. But they all are placed somehow "awry" on the frontend... however they are looking fine on the backend.

Besides this the headings in the modules user2 and user3 on the Homepage disappeared.

What am I doing wrong??

At first create a position in your templateDetails.xml file then create a new position from layout builder. You can add new position or alter existing position. The layout builder gives you the flexibility to have your desired template layout.
