If your client already have both FB and Instagram, which they likely do (after all, client must already have Instagram), then the steps would take less than 3 minutes to do.

I am guessing that you may not have properly changed the URL of the website in step #5 under Create an App on Facebook for Developers.

Keep in mind, you may also have URL redirect or other scripts that prevent access to https://your-domain.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&task=instagram.accessToken.

Without resolving that, you wouldn't be able to establish communication between your website and FB app.

it works only with the full instagram link without adding id or token

I appreciate the effort on JoomShaper's part. But this is officially not worth it anymore. Thanks, Instagram. I just removed your feed from over a dozen client sites and will not be adding it back. A simple icon to their actual Instagram feed will more than suffice.

Are you saying to us who have set up many websites that we have to have access to our clients Instagram account and be an admin on our clients Facebook accounts to do this and set up a new app for all of them?

Please tell me I am not right as that would be rather cumbersome for people with many clients like John above with 43 using the addon.

Blame Instagram - they are the ones who changed the process, all JoomShaper can do is provide something that works with the new Instagram API platform.

1. You have to update SP Page Builder to the last version.
2. Convert your Instagram account to the business/creator account first (conversion only possible with mobile app).

(click on the Instagram Gallery link on the left menu if the link above is broken).

You'll see how you can create an app on Facebook for Developers, create a Facebook Page to link to your Instagram Business account and configure SP Page Builder on your website.

Confirmed that it works and if you already have a business Instagram page tied into your FB business account, there are few steps you can skip.

Then refresh and your Instagram add-on should work.

Where do we add the UserID in the update? As people say above, there is nowhere to add it - if you select Hashtag, it drops down a box to put the hashtag in - if you select UserID, there is no box:

I have a similar experience.
There is no place to add the ID if Id is selected and it gives error on the page.
If hash is used then again no images come in after save and clearing hash. The blog post

Not yet but it might be the only way...blame Instagram as, like Facebook, over the years they put complicated processes in place to do things with their platform.

I have 43 website that use SP Page Builder and the Instagram addon exclusively. I use this platform because of it's stability and reliability.... This issue with Instagram is having a negative effect on my business.

Can you please give us some idea when this will be remedied. ??
