1. SP Page Builder 3.x

I have been trying to add an article, a single article, to a page in the builder but the article addon only appears to offer a category selection. Is that the only option? I wanted to use a Joomla article inside a page build. Is there a sensible way to go about this?

Thank you,

Karen

I solved the issue using "Articles Anywhere", which is one of the RegularLabs extensions. I create a module and use the plugin to add the article to the module. I can then place the Joomla module anywhere on the page. Works nicely.

Hi,
If you need to display the whole article -- you have to find a module which allows that.
Joomla by default doesn't allow to display two components on a single page.
All methods are based on a sort of "hacks".

Some users tried that: https://www.regularlabs.com/extensions/componentsanywhere
But I cannot give you any support for this way.

yes...
there is a plan to create a new addon with this feature.
Of course to display content only, no edit.

OK, gotcha.

Does a page built in the builder take the location of the main component, like where an article would render? If that's the case, then I see how it would not be possible to render both.

SP Page Builder displayed as page = component view
Single article = component view
Blog from articles = component view
Single article with SPPB mode (2in1) = also component view

Kind of a pain...would love if the Articles Add-On would allow selecting a single article. Pretty please with sugar on top.
