1. SP Medical

Good evening.
My name is Marco Gianni and I purchased both SP Builder and the Template package.

Here is my question:
I am building a site with Helix Ultimate for a vet clinic. I would like to integrate some very useful pages into the site which are however only in the MEDICO template (in particular I would like to transfer 'Appointments' and 'Schedules').
It's possible? You can help me ?

Thank you
Regards
Marco Gianni

Hi,
yes.
As the first step download and install this extension: https://www.joomshaper.com/joomla-extensions/sp-medical

Those two views are from SP Medical component.

Happy with the advice I received, I thought I had solved it but unfortunately I have an even bigger and more urgent problem.

I downloaded the SP Medical package and did the installation on my site. Unfortunately, even if it indicates that the installation was successful, a message also appeared
(in yellow):
JFolder:: files: The path is not a folder. Path: / home / ifzdwdts / public_html / elixu / administrator / components / com_spmedical / sql / updates / mysql

The problem for me is very big because from this moment it no longer allows me to access the site in any way (Front-end or Back-end) also does not allow me to go on previews of pages built with SP Page Builder anymore. In both circumstances, a completely blank screen appears.
(My site with Helix Ultimate latest version and Joomla 3.9.20)

Help! I also made the big mistake of not saving my site first, if I don't fix this problem caused by installing SP Medico I have lost all the work done so far.

Probably installation was corrupted somehow.

You have two options:
1) Ask hosting support to recover website from backup
2) Using FTP tool DELETE those folders
administrator / components / com_spmedical
components\com_spmedical

then you should be able to get access to admin again and disable the component.

Thanks Paul for the prompt help despite the evening and Saturday hours! I really appreciate!

I preferred to rename the adminstrator / components / com_spmedical folder (leaving it temporarily in place) and it worked. Now everything is fine as before, thanks.

However, my need remains to have some parts of the Medical extension on my site.
Is it possible to ask you to check on Monday morning where the incompatibility is and fix the problem so that it can also be used on Helix Ultimate (with Joomla latest version)?
It could possibly be useful to other people in the future as well, Medical package is an important implementation.

Thanks in advance for your interest!
Marco

Good morning Paul.
I am writing you a memo hoping it will be useful on the subject.

Unfortunately, even if it indicates that the Medical package installation was successful, a message also appeared
(in yellow):
JFolder:: files: The path is not a folder. Path: / home / ifzdwdts / public_html / elixu / administrator / components / com_spmedical / sql / updates / mysql

I did some tests and found two interesting things:
1) The problem I don't think concerns Joomla and recent versions. I tried on a clean site with both Joomla 3.9.18 and the latest current one (Joomla 3.9.20). The problem (blank screen on the site typing the home page path from the frontend or / and pressing the SP Builder preview page button) after installing the Medical package happens in both situations.
2) I found by ftp the file (Medical package installed) that conflicts with everything else.
The file is: … /administrator/components/com_spmedical/router.php
In fact, if I remove (or temporarily rename) this file everything returns to work as before the installation.

I hope that these considerations of mine are useful to solve the problem inside the Medical package, which would be very useful for me to be able to use it working in my site created with Helix Ultimate, as mentioned in the previous message.

Best regards
Marco

BTW
In Joomla Admin > Components > SP MEDICAL > Options > URL Routing
try with which setting it will work better Legacy or Modern

Unfortunately, any setting (Modern or Legacy) does not solve the problem in any way.
To be safe I tried to install the whole package again, but it doesn't change that. When I recall the site, in any way, only a white screen appears.
If I delete the 'route.php' file via FTP, everything is fine again but obviously I don't think it can be the solution.

I attach a photo of the message that I get just installed spmedical full package (in Italian).

Thanks,
On my demo installation is OK, no white screen.
But yes, I had a similar message during installation. Hopefully, it was just a message.

What PHP version you have?

I have the latest version of PHP (PHP Version 7.4.9).
Fearing it might be an old version of my browser on the mac, I tried other browsers as well (Chrome, Firefox) but the problem remains. I also tried from my recent smartphone with Android 9 installed, which is up to date on everything, but same problem: I can't view the site.
I can confirm you that I have also tried on my test server, Joomla (ver 3.9.20) clean, just installed, with the complete Helix Ultimate package. As soon as I install the Medical pack I can no longer view the site.

Question: how did you manage not to have problems? Are Joomla, PHP and Helix Ultimate the latest version like in my case?
Otherwise I can't understand why it works for you and not for me.

I'm back Paul!

I'm sorry to say but nothing changes.
I installed the file you sent me, it indicates successful installation (Step 01 photo) but when I click on the top right ((Step 02 photo) to call up the front end of my site ... nothing, always a blank white screen .
I don't know what to think anymore, and I tell you again: I have everything with the latest updates
