I want to have my image cover the full width of the page without any blue preset margins. How do I remove the blue feature module background?

Which positions background do you want to remove? Better to share your url or provide a screenshot.
Thanks.

Here is a screenshot of the problem. I want to have a full image (ideally slider) on my home page. I don't want the coloured border that occurs with the feature or user modules.

Yellow arrow - showing how want image to extend full width of screen and be responsive on tablet and mobile.

Red scissors - want to cut out border. I tried changing the css.template removing padding and margins but this didn't make any difference.

Maybe It will help if you remove the custom class: container from the Feature row seetings in template layout manager. ;)

Use full image. You used image contain 1100px width. But the position need 1170px width image. So use image which contain 1170px width. And for removing the blue background go to presets.less life and remove the code from line no. 43.
Thanks.

I managed to remove line 43 and uploaded an image 1170 in width. I have removed the blue boundary but there is still a grey boundary? How can I get the image to go across the page without any boundary including the top and bottom margins?

No margin used on this position. Padding is used here. fro removing the padding go to layout builder and remove the padding from that position. Also if you don't want to use the boundary then remove the custom class container from that position on layout builder.
