Hello Team,

I am trying to build a workflow management system where me and my team will be writing articles. Now the system we require should allow us to upload data about articles using CSV or through backend as admins. The actual articles will not be given here and would be stored somewhere else, we just need the flow to carry information about articles i.e. Article ID, Date when it was listed, title, status, last modified by (User), Last Modified on (Date), Remarks in order to maintain and manage the workflow.

The data will have the following columns
Article ID | Date | Title |Status | Last Modified by | Last Modified on (Date) | Remarks/Comments

When a user uploads information about the article it should record it in separate rows each time the status changes until it reaches the final state. The article with the same ID can appear in multiple rows with different statuses it goes through until it reaches Published/Final Status. With this we will have the ability to see who started it and what process did it go through until it is marked as Final /Published (Status).

We also need the ability to export the data to CSV and filter the data based on the column titles.

We need to have simple excel like format in order to list our information and allow the users to enter the information from the front-end.

Do you have any extension that can do this for us or if you can guide us with your expertise, it will be a great help.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Sorry, sir, but we definitely don't have extension meeting your requirements.

Although you well defined the business domain for your extension, you will have as many ways to developing it, as you will have developers, looking at undertaking this job for you. You will just have to shop around and pick a developer you feel comfortable to work with.
