Hi,
As you know, with all templates based on Helix 3, there is this nice feature for each article : on the Tab "Helix Blog Options", you can choose a Featured Image.
Great...
But you can't choose an existing image, as it does not use the standard Joomla (or JCE) Media Manager to select/upload an image.
Instead, it creates a directory of the kind 2015/12/25/ where it puts the image.
This is not very convenient.
At least, one would like to be able to choose existing images.
So why not implementing the standard Joomla Media Manager (you can also keep the automatic yyyy/mm/dd if you like, I don't mind :-) ?
Another advantage is that you can then manage your images (upload images via FTP if you have a lot, ...).
Txs,
Marc
PS : by the way, there is also a *bug* in the present system : if you upload an image with a [space] character in its name, the image gets uploaded, the image is shown in the "Helox Blog Options" Tab, but it would not show up in front-end (like in my example with the pagebuilder slideshow addon of NewEdge Template)
