Hi guys,

I use allot of pagebuilders.
And i love SPpagebuilder.

If i look to other pagebuilders i mis some options that cost me allot of extra time.

This is a must if you ask me:
There are reasons i rather go for WP than Joomla only for this issue.
A global row and addon.
So you can reuse a certain addon on multiple pages. Footers, newsletter subscribe, headers, article sliders.
If you use the newsletter in the builder and want this on every site you have to use a module with all that in there to reuse that.
In case of the header it would be great to make like 3 headers and if you change the image it will change on all the other locations that it is used.
Beaverbuilder has the borders arround in yellow so you know you are editing a global row/addon.
Of-course i can use a module for these kind of things, but my customer then must go in the backend and i do not want that for a header change.

Beaverbuilder is now going further so you can create the templates for certain aereas.
1. Header, you can create a header in the builder and choose where to show this header (menu items, certain article categories, components...)
2. Footer, you can create a header in the builder and choose where to show this header (menu items, certain article categories, components...)
3. They go further and you can buildup an article in the builder. The variable data from the article is a shortcode to load the content of the certain article. So you create a header and choose the full image as background, in the header you have a html content block with the code [TITLE_ARTICLE] that loads the article.

Beaverbuilder is going on with this so you can do this with Webshop products (woocommerce), Events systems.

So creating a website with custom design events is super easy and possible in the builder.

I think this is the future how builder will work.
So my question is will you guys go this way or not?

Wish you all the good luck with this awesome product.

Hi.

Ad 0) It's planned for 2019 year, you're not first person who asked for it.

ad 1 & 2) I think using Helix template and menu settings - have it already.
WP is very limited that's why Page Builder have to manage all areas. In Joomla, you still have modules and useful template features.

ad 3) With those changes we have to wait till Joomla 4.0, too big changes in the core to touch it now.

0 Great that that will come!
I can imagine that i am not the first person.

1&2 I do not use Helix. It is not flexible enough for my custom theming.
I have a very clean and simpel template for myself where i can write less and compiling is on the fly.
And you can't assign certain headers to certain rules in Helix so i use modules for that.

The global version is the fastest fix for this but with ACL make sure my customer can't edit the header or footer would be nice.

3. I understand and really hope it will come in 4.

You guys are doing a good job, thanks for that!

Thanks a lot.

Don't forget that SPPB has also Module, I have seen that some users use it to build: Header section of the template instead defaults one from a template. Maybe it's not a bad idea.

Hi Paul,

Well, the SPPB module :-)
And yes I tried, but maybe I am missing something.
I use the module on a site but then I need to go to the backend and can not see how it will be like the pages.
So it is less user-friendly for my users (noobs).

If I edit a page with that module I need to go to the backend for that right?
And if I am in the backend I can't say edit this in the frontend or am I missing something?

You guys know how beaverbuilder fixed this?
Save as template and Global yes/no
And you can edit the global row/addon in the frontend for all pages at once.

they are awesome and is the most similar like your builder

Hope that this will be available soon!

I understand that the architecture is different.
As end-user I do not care :-P

I love the functions and something like that for SPbuilder is necessary if you ask me.
There is no site where I do not want to repeat something on multiple pages.
For me, this is a function why i would choose WP over Joomla because this is missing and cost time to create it with modules and it is not user-friendly for my clients.

I have 30 WP beaverbuilder site's and 60 joomla site's and I am interested in growing with SPPagebuilder :-D
