Hello dear support team,

Lawyers are currently sending warnings for open street maps.

Can you include a query on open street map whether the before the map is loaded.

that would help us a lot in Germany and save us expensive costs. it is sad, but it is slowly no longer fun to create pages in german lad :-(
Maybe you know a plugin as an alternative.

but without a query we cannot use the great open street map

Regard from germany

Hi,
developers from Germany again get a kick, not the first time, I agree it's not funny anymore.
I don't understand why the lawyers don't like you so much. I know easy money for them.
---
I guess the most trusted way would be:
1) Use a static screenshot from map instead of Map as now
2) Develop your own German Map service.

BTW
Have you tried to use the GDPR component which can block cookies and links before the user would accept them?
-------
Alternative quick idea:
Show static map image which would be a link to OpenStreets or Google Maps.
In that case, your webmaster's hands are clean.
---
You can also sue some lawyers companies if they have a map on their websites to collect extra euro. We call it a double-edged weapon.

Hi Paul,

we can't do it. that the lawyers take advantage of it :-(
basically the GDPR counts for everyone. For the other nations too.
If the lawyers do nothing there, all the better.

but actually the other nations need it too. According to the GDPR, the IP address may only be sent to openstreetmap if the user agrees.

You also implemented the checkbox on the contact form. It would be very nice and would protect everyone if you add a query to your addon open streetmap.

Basically, a great product offers the page builder with super great addons. It's a lot of fun to work with.

Sure, I will talk with our developers if we can do something soon.
But for the next weeks I suggest something basics, less OS related.

On the other hand, EU politics sell their privacy data using smartphones and many apps. But no, the map is the real evil. :p

madness.
