Resolved Font-Awesome custom icon

Hello,
I need to insert an icon that is not in Font- Awesome.

On another site I modified the file Font- Awesome.otf , modifying an existing glyph , I created the package for web and pasted the new files in the directory and the new icon is on .

With the model Shaper_Awetive can not do it .

The file version of the model is 3.2.1 , while the other model is 4.1

This could be the problem?
or
Is There another way to do it?

The Font- Awesome are a source very interesting , but if I need to use an icon is not in the character and I can not change, that I do with the Font- Awesome ?

Please provide us with the URL of the page and point to the element of the page for which you would like to replace Font Awesome icon to your custom one.

Hi,

I have modified an existing glyph in file Font-Awesome with an external program.

I have created the package for webfont with an web font generator online and substituted them in the directory.
