Hi guys, Please:

A - When I apply the SP Page Builder > Section Row Options > Fluid Row, is it applied to the Component area, Am I right ?

B - If the "Fluid Row" is not applied, What are the default Sections Rows padding / margins rules ?

Hi there,

Thanks for your query. The row fluid works only page builder pages. It doesn't work inside the Joomla component area.

-Thanks

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback. Page Builder row fluid cannot override the Joomla container. That's why row fluid doesn't work inside Joomla's article.

-Thanks

A - Thanks. Yes, as far as I have investigated Row Fluid is is applied on #sp-main-body Section Row and not on the #sp-component Component Column.

B - Please, When SP Page Builder > Sections options > > General > Fluid Row: off",
What are the SPPB default Rows padding / margins rules applied to the sections?

Hi Toufiq,
many thanks. So, as far as I understand Helix Ultimate is forcing, by default, a 15px margin left / right to the Component Column (sp-component) (There are no settigs for that in Helix Ultimate). Am I right ?

That's causing an issue using SPPB in some circumstances: the Row Fluid "does not work" (the 15px margins are still there) when we are using SPPB in a module content-top / content-bottom position.

Have the default Component Column (sp-component) > margin left / right 15px has no advantage. If needed we can add and in case of using Left / Right columns the wanted margins can be added there.

By default Component Column (sp-component) margins / paddings should be set to "none".

Please, What is the best way to delete those margin left / right 15px ?

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. This 15px padding comes from the bootstrap css. If you want to reduce the padding 15px, Please use this css code inside the custom.css file.

main#sp-component {
padding-left: 0px;
padding-right: 0px;
}

Hi Toufiq, let me recap:

Helix Ultimate
- Row > sp-main-body > I can set it as Fluid Width and manually set my Paddings / Margins
--- Column > sp-component > Where Bootstrap 4 add by default to all main#sp-component-col-lg-12 ...etc. a padding-left / padding-right 15px

SP Page Builder component
by default run into the Component Column.
To each SPPB section I can apply the "Fluid Row" option. This overwrite all the "Helix Ultimate sp-main-body / sp-component settings" giving us a way to have back a 100% width.
Here a SPPB Page where I added a Text addon into a SPPB Fluid Row section and a second one without SPPB Fluid Row.

SP Page Builder Content-Top / Content-Bottom modules
Now, Helix Ultimate has two too useful Content-Top, Content-Bottom "hidden" modules
These are too useful for us when we want to put SPPB (with modules) at the top and at the bottom of a Component extension page.
Here a Joomla article with where I added the same SPPB Page in the Content-Bottom position.

As you can see (I send to you the Super Admin access) from my attached images:
- when SPPB is in the Content-Top / Content-Bottom module positions the SPPB Section "Fluid Row" is not overwriting, resetting, the Helix Ultimate settings. A big missing.
- but also the not "Fluid Row" Text addon is not shown as in the SPPB Preview and the default SPPB paddigs/margins are not applied.

Am I missing anything ?
Please, Do you have a workaround for it ?
Do you have any tricks, trips for it ?

I may be wrong, but as I remember, Fluid Width work inside the component area.
Content-Top / Content-Bottom are module positions beyond component area.
So for these positions you have to use extra custom CSS

Hi Paul,
thanks for answering to me.
What I don't understand is this last behaviour:
"...- but also the not "Fluid Row" Text addon is not shown as in the SPPB Preview and the default SPPB paddigs/margins are not applied..."
The difference you can see between SPPB-Preview-Content-Bottom.jpg and the same text addon here
