Resolved Fatal error after installation

Hi,
I am getting following error after installation.
Fatal error: Can't use function return value in write context in /home/bukun/public_html/school.ushafoundation.in/components/com_sppagebuilder/addons/carousel/site.php on line 124

My PHP version is old 5.4.45.

How can I resolve the issue without changing the PHP version.

Apology for your issue. Please upgrade your PHP version to solve this issue. Your version is not supported by us and it is very old.
