I have installed the latest version of the template OnePage 2.7 and SP Page Builder 3.7.2 using Joomla 3.9.16 for Linux. I am having problems with opening the front page editor. It worked initially but when I edited the blog module it froze. After rebooting and clearing the cache, the front end editor will not open. At first there was an error message that a joomla file xxx/renderer/head.php was missing. I followed forum advice that this file is no longer in Joomla 3.8 and commented out line 28 in the templates/shaper-onepage/error.php that starts with "require_once () " . Now when trying to start front page editor there is a message "syntax error unexpected '<', expecting end of file: object of class Std Class count not be converted to string."
I have used the charity template in the past and had no trouble but this template is giving a lot of problems. Any advice appreciated.

Hello Heather,
Apology for your issue. This can be caused by
1. Custom JavaScript code used inside Custom module used in Module addon.
2. Installed extra module (not joomla core) used insided Module addon.
3. Old addon from your template override.
The best way to find it, is DELETE all module addons one by one, and check which one cause the problem.

Hello together,
I had the same problem and it comes from SP Simple Portfolio. I didn´t updated it and now the template works?!
For long time, i think it would be better to update also SP simple portfolio, but what how can I do this without the problem?
Best regards
Yvonne

Please take a full site backup with Akeeba Backup. Then download the latest version of SP Simple Portfolio and then install on your site.
