Hello.

I discovered an error when setting up templates using Helix Ultimate.

I have the latest version of Joomla and Helix Ultimate.

When I copy a theme (Style) create a copy without duplicating FTP files, it is not possible to set templates in the menus, nothing works, and the templates are not loaded correctly as per the configuration in the menus.

There is an error at this point.

The only way to work is to clone a theme completely, giving it a new name, in this case duplicating all ftp files. This way it is possible to set a new theme for certain Joomla menus.

The strange thing is that I used this a lot on Helix 3, and Helix Ultimate doesn't work.

It is very important to have this action back, because if I completely duplicate a theme, I will miss all updates of it, because it will not be updated by the updates system.

I look forward to a return on this issue.

Thank you!

Hello, thanks, I checked in the installation.

I did my tests too.

Really the problem did not occur.

However I see that you do not have the latest version of Joomla installed.

And the site is using multi languages, could that influence?

I do not use multi languages. and I'm using the latest version of Joomla.

Hi there,

Updated the Joomla and it works fine. There is no relation between multilingual.

Another important detail.

I have 3 different menus and not just 1 default menu.

The idea is to have a menu for each page, and in these menus, I can indicate what my template style will be by setting the menu item style.

I realized that in your test, there is only one menu (main menu).

I believe this is the same problem.

In the HELIX Ultimate template, in navigation, you can define what will be the menu of this theme.

The problem seems to be at this point.

If all copied templates have the same menu, frontend switching is performed by changing items configured with different templates.

If I want to have different menus for each theme, it no longer works.

Try this quiz, different menus set in the Helix Ultimate template.

In my project, I will have 3 different menus:

1 - Menu choice page (home)
2 - Menu for Onepage page 1
3 - Menu for Onepage 2 page

I need to define in each menu a different template.

These are my 3 different menus, each one will be set in the theme.

Each theme will have its own menu.
