Hi Joomshaper support,
I have a question concerning the helix2 menu behavior.
I don’t want to use the embedded menu support inside the helix template, because I don’t wont, that the normal menu disappears on smaller screens and is replaced by the icon with the three dashes inside. I think, people do expect this only on single-page web-apps, like facebook. In this case, people only use this special menu, when they want to do special things and not for the main content of the site. In my case, I would prefer to use a normal menu, which I contruct by myself on menu position of the template. In order to avoid double menus, I found a “dummy method” to avoid this. So far I am glad to see, what I want. With one exception: the three-dashes-icon – without underlying menus – is appearing anyway.
I hope, you understand my situation, it is like http://www.joomshaper.com/forums/question/i-am-getting-a-double-main-menu with the difference that I want that the whole embedded menu disappears, also the special icon on smaller screens.
I am looking for one of the two solutions:
1) How I can manage, that the special icon disappears on smaller screens (see attachment pict2)?
2) I could gain total control of the embedded menu like on other menu positions in the template-layout-manager, where you can specify the behavior for desktop, tablet, phone screen sizes.
Besides this point, I am very happy with all your features, in particular the flexible layout possibilities!
