1. SP Page Builder 3.x

I noticed in my site search results and looking into the database that Pages that came with the default content of my template are still present (e.g. index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&Itemid=703&id=7&lang=en&view=page) even though I have deleted them.

How can I completely get rid of them?
Accepted Answer
The database was cleaned, we can close the topic.

And yes, I asked developer to fix it.

Hi,
indeed, it's sort of bug.
You have to remove that page from the database using PHPMyAdmin, Adminer or similar tool.

BTW
Do we talk about classic search OR Smart Search (where content is cached) ?

I don't know that. I'm using your Educon template out of the box.

That's potentially a lot of tables to remove by hand, with no guarantee that I might get all of it out, and a great risk that I end up removing something important. As you said, it's a bug on your product's side so I would really appreciate some assistance on this.

Just be careful what you delete, you know Page titles which you want to keep, I don't.

No risk, if you will database backup before.

I cannot fix component code now, we both have to wait for official update.
But it will not delete old pages anyway, only new ones deleted after update.

Hello, yes I am reluctant to edit the DB, as I have not done it before. Also, I do not have a way to find out what leftover code from your initial mock up content was there, so I'd be shooting in the dark and probably not get everything.

If you use list view you should see all pages... then just check [x] which you don't need and click "Delete"

The server is not under my control and there is no CPanel as far as I know, so I can't edit DB that easily.

If you have access to files, I guess you have, you can download "Adminer" it's single file php script and use it

The more we speak, the more I get confused :/
You are asking me to fix a bug in your system by adding level upon level of complexity. This is not what I expect from a template I paid for and that should be working out of the box on simple tasks such as deleting pages.
