Hi,
If i may...
Please follow the following instructions to solve the issue.
1) please add the following lines inside your .../templates/shaper_helixultimate/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/color/advanced.php file

// Including fallback code for HTML5 non supported browsers.
JHtml::_('jquery.framework');
JHtml::_('script', 'system/html5fallback.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true, 'conditional' => 'lt IE 9'));
JHtml::_('script', 'jui/jquery.minicolors.min.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true));
JHtml::_('stylesheet', 'jui/jquery.minicolors.css', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true));
JHtml::_('script', 'system/color-field-adv-init.min.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true));
?>

Here is how it'll look like http://prntscr.com/pyw32l
2) Then just add the following css into your custom css.

.minicolors-theme-bootstrap .minicolors-input {
height: inherit;
width: inherit;
}

Here is how it'll look like http://prntscr.com/pyw3g0

And here is the final output http://prntscr.com/pyw3ou

Also for the second issue i've added the following code inside this file location .../templates/shaper_helixultimate/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/color/simple.php

// Include jQuery // Include jQuery
JHtml::_('jquery.framework'); JHtml::_('jquery.framework');
JHtml::_('script', 'system/html5fallback.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true, 'conditional' => 'lt IE 9')); JHtml::_('script', 'system/fields/simplecolors.min.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true));
JHtml::_('script', 'jui/jquery.simplecolors.min.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true)); JHtml::_('stylesheet', 'system/simplecolors.css', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true));
JHtml::_('stylesheet', 'jui/jquery.simplecolors.css', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true)); JHtml::_('script', 'system/fields/color-field-init.min.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true));
JHtml::_('script', 'system/color-field-init.min.js', array('version' => 'auto', 'relative' => true));
?>

http://prntscr.com/pzesk7

And here is the output http://prntscr.com/pzetfm

Hope this'll help.

Note: Please take a backup of your full site before doing any kind of template update. Because you need to do the same process each time you update your template.

Hello,

You can add color by choosing Preset Style from Template Options. You can also add your custom stylesheet if you need. Please see the screenshots for reference.

Thanks Ofi Khan,
but that is not what I'm looking for.
As you can see comparing my attached image with the link page I provided, I mean that the standard Joomla Custom Field Color Selector is not shown when using Helix Ultimate...

Hi,
I think you are using any third-party extension. Would you please share where you got those fields http://prntscr.com/pskdw9.
I could find those fields in my end.

If you are using any third-party extension and those fields are coming form that extension then please ask them if they’ve provided compatibility with helix-ultimate or not.

Please let me know.

Hi Ofi Khan,
that selector is from third-party DPCalendar by Digital Peak, the ones who gave the Custom Fields to Joomla (DPFields).

When I put in evidence this issue to them, they confirmed me:
- "...We are using the core field..."
- "...Test it with the protostar template. Looks like a conflict with ... = Infact while with Joomla Admin template, portostar and Beez3 templates the Joomla Color selector is shown, using the Helix Ultimate template is not

The extension you are using is not compatible with Helix Framework. This is why it is not working.

Hi Ofi Khan,
thanks for reply. I supposed it because it is not running. Anyway, DPCalendar is using the default Joomla Custom Fields.
I'm not a developer. Please, Can you help on fixing it ? / Can you give me any suggestments to fix it ?

Hi Ofi Khan,
...always in DPCalendar > Create Event > Content tab > Color: is prefilled with "none" instead to be empty (with Protostar and Beez3 is running well and the field is empty) - You can see it on my Test2 site here > Here an image

I asked for it in DPCalendar and they suggested me that's happening because of Helix Ultimate, "because the color script is not loaded on your site"

That should be the same bug as the first issue...

Hi guys, these bugs can be reproduced on any Joomla standard installation, as far as I tested, just using a color field with type advanced...
Renaming folders and files I found where are placed the 2 BUGs:

A - Create Event > Content tab > Color: "none" is automatically added and prefilled into the field = the bug is caused by the .../templates/shaper_helixultimate/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/color/advanced.php file

B - Create Event > Content tab > Color Selector: is not shown - when it is setted using Joomla color Custom Field instead to leave the field blank (point "A" ) = the bug is caused by the .../templates/shaper_helixultimate/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/color/simple.php file

Hi Sifat,
in first of all really many thanks for your Support.
As far as I see you yet added the patch to the advanced.php file on my Test2 site and it solves the "A" issue on the standard Joomla Color Custom Field.

But not solves the case "B" that is caused, as I wrote, by the simple.php file on the same standard Joomla Color Custom Field when used in another way...

Please, Can you take a look on it ?

Hi Sifat,
as far as I see, with Helix Ultimate 1.1.2 some code has been added on files:
- .../templates/shaper_helixultimate/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/color/advanced.php file
- .../templates/shaper_helixultimate/html/layouts/joomla/form/field/color/simple.php

But different code from the ones you provided here and again the default Joomla Color selector is not running.

Replacing the lines with your code, on both files, the default Joomla Color selector is running.

Please, Can you confirm it ?
And, in case, to advice the developer team of that and, Please, give me the exact instructions to fix it...

Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. It's actually works with most of the extensions but as i notice very few extension is causing some conflict. On those cases you just need to replace my suggested code above to solve those issue.
