Resolved Deactivate loading of google fonts.

you have to cut them off from template code, probably index.php.
I guess you panicked because of GDPR right. Germany restricted law for citizens, and no law rules for Einwanderer, history ironic.

Haha not really panicking, but I try to manage all used scripts and fonts are loaded over my server.
So I will use Google Fonts but load them down :-)

In the emplate code I didn't found as place where add Stylesheet is embedded. May I have to search in helix framework instead??

If you want to cut off from template, yes you have to dig into Helix framework files.

Hi, I use a lot of Helix Templates for our costumers in Germany.
And you are right, its ironic, but we have to cut off google fonts and load them directly from localhost.

This case is for all users in Germany (I think the whole EU!)

I would be great if you can modify your templates, so that admins can turn on/off google fonts.
This would be not a great effort for you I think.

Better would be an option, where admins can choose the needed google webfonts and your template automatically saves the fonts on the local host.

There are a lot of Websites hosted in Germany with Helix Templates. And I am sure, this woud be a very good extension for your templates. We love to work with Helix.

As I know only developers from Germany are so "scared" about this. But I understand, fines can be painful. Nobody from Italy nor Spain nor France nor Holland nor Poland asked for it so far. In most cases, they use a cookie extension which blocks it until the user agrees.

Germany always is the first in EU, the other countries will follow ... it is not a German Law, its EU-Law.
At this time we can use cookie-extension with blocking googlefonts.
But it would be great, if the new Helix Templates in Future will have an option to do this.
