Not sure what the issue is but changes added to the custom CSS are totally ignored.

On this page this style on line 114 of template.css where the bolded text over rides the custom css.

.transparent-header #sp-header:not(.header-sticky) {
height: 85px;
box-shadow: none;
background-color: transparent;
position: fixed;
}

Custom.css line 9
.transparent-header #sp-header:not(.header-sticky) {
height: 85px;
box-shadow: none;
background-color: opacity: 0.25;
position: fixed;
}

My only solution is to delete the styles from the template.css and to ensure all those changes are commented with references back to the template css lines or any other style sheets I may customise.

When doing fine tuning this becomes a seriously tedious process

Thoughts?
Thanks

Hi,
Reading a book (or tutorial) about CSS may help.
This is incorrect CSS syntax (!) :

background-color: opacity: 0.25;

That's why it's totally ignored by all browsers.

+ some cases you have to use !important

width: 10px;
height: 1px;
position: absolute;

left: 0;
-webkit-transform: translateY(-50%);
transform: translateY(-50%);
-webkit-transition: all 0.3s ease-in-out;
transition: all 0.3s ease-in-out;
}

custom.css line 40

#sp-header .sp-megamenu-parent > li > a::before {
width: 10px;
height: 1px;
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
left: 0;
-webkit-transform: translateY(-50%);

Only this one:

#sp-header .sp-megamenu-parent > li > a::before {display: none;}

You're quite close, but your CSS knowledge has to be improved. The weekend course is all you need.

I figured removal would be better than me fiddling.

I'm just a hacker as you've discovered.
Thanks for putting up with my lunacy.

Thanks again
