Resolved CSS Crashed My Site

I use the Shaper Revibe template and after I added some custom CSS to the template section, now my site only shows the word "Error" and when I try to get back to editing my template style, I get "Error decoding JSON data: Control character error, possibly incorrectly encoded" I just need to get back and clear out the code I added. I put a marker in the CSS that says

<!-- More CSS //-->

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Use PHPMyAdmin and remove this line of code from database, I mean template settings table. It has search input field, you will be able to find.

This field was for clear, raw CSS only.
If you want to use comments (more useful than above), next time use custom.css file.
You used HTML comment syntax. It could damage code.

Thanks, but I'm having a problem because I don't have full permissions to manage files on this client's server, although I've been working with them to change my level of access. In the meantime, is there a way to manage this thought Joomla's backend, like maybe a PHPAdmin on the Joomla side of things? I've installed "PHPMyJooma" but its also stalling, and I think its because of the same reason?

But changes in Custom CSS area are not saved inside files, only database.
Besides if you're Super Admin you are able to create and edit .css files.

I understand...but where I changed/added the css was in the backend of the template style. I opened that and in the "Custom CSS' tab is where I added my CSS. Once I saved it, it crashed, and every time I try to open that .again, it kicks back an error.

Can I make you an access password and you take a look and let me know what I can do?

I cant access the area where the code was entered. It keeps giving me an error when I try to access the editor.
