1. SP Page Builder 2.x (not supported version)
  2. Tuesday, 13 December 2016
Trying to get the Column Equal Height working on a row in SP Page Builder 2.

This element does not make the column backgrounds equal hight, and will sometimes break the responsive behavior of the row.

There was another post about adding display:flex to the custom css, but this does not appear to work.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Please check latest version. Thanks
Sorry my bad! I went from 2.4 to 2.42 and the problem was solved. I was convinced that I was already using the latest version...

Thanks for the quick response!
Hi,

If you have the problem still now, please send me site URL & administrator access. Besides, you can replace manually sppagebuilder.css file below file location.

Download page builder & grab the sppagebuilder.css file from below location
com_sppagebuilder_pro_v2.4.2/site/assets/css

Replace location
components/com_sppagebuilder/assets/css

-Thanks

I am going to do a follow up to this. Since the original post in December, I have started working with another website.

Yes, the Column Equal Heights is working now BUT only if the columns are also equal widths (like 4,4,4 or 6,6)

I have found that the Columns Equal Height will break the grid layout if you have an (8,4) design. The specific page that I am developing now has an (8,4) and the equal heights breaks the grid into a (6,6) of equal heights. Without, it is an (8,4) of unequal heights.

The attached pic is an 8,4 grid that displays as a 6,6 after Equal Heights Applied.

Thanks I'll test this asap!
Hi, I will be waiting for your feedback. Thanks
For me, this is still not solving the issue. the 8+4 is displaying as a 6+6.

If you look at the css, on the page it is showing a 66.6 and a 33.3 widths, so the FLEX must be changing something
Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Could you send me FTP & administrator login info via pm? Please let me know.

-Thanks
Toufiq:

What browser do you guys develop on? This appears to be a browser compatibility issue.

Now that I take the home page and your page different browsers I get different results:
Chrome - displays correctly
Safari - NO
Firefox - Correct

So it appears the Safari (which is what I have been using) is the issue. I guess it interprets the FLEX differently.
Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have checked it safari working fine. Which version of your browser of safari? Please let me know. Thanks
I have Safari - Mac - latest install with 10.12.4 OS
