Resolved Change Thumbnail Images For K2 Items in News Show SP2?

Hi,

First off I'm using the SportsOn template.

The question/issue I have concerns the thumbnail generation/cache for the various module positions (featured, popular etc). I can get them to generate & load fine, no issue there, but the thumbnail aspect ratio is out and images look squashed. As I use both portrait & landscape images this is to be expected.

So my question is this... Can I have/use custom thumbnails?

I've tried saving over the images that get saved to the modules cache folder with my own in cPanel but it doesn't have any effect. Is there something I'm missing? Is there another way to do this? This is kind of a deal breaker as at the moment these squashed images make the site look kinda rubbish.

The thumbnail size for the modules that I want to overwrite are 300px by 150px (see screenshot attached to see what I mean)
