Hello Team,

Templates like University are sometimes really adorable where we have the Logo and Menus in different rows. There are several clients who love this kind of setup as this allows them to showcase their logo in large scale without having to compromise on the beauty of the main menu.

With that said, I would like to know if we can upgrade the framework of the templates that are using the Older Helix to Helix 3 since most of the features are not available in the older version that we would like to use.

Please help.

Syed H

What help are you looking for please? You and I already covered the subject of this thread, which is upgrade from Helix-II to Helic-3. Do you still need help with this subject or with something else? If the latter, please create a new thread with your next question and we will be more than happy to take it from there for you.

Alex

Hi Syed,

Thank you for your kind feedback on our templates.

Sorry but there is no Helix-II to Helix-3 upgrade path, as Helix-3 framework has been written from clean slate. Those two, although sound like they both belong to the same family of extensions, are actually each a different animal in itself. Many thanks once again for your valuable input in our forum. Much appreciate it. Happy joomshaping.

Alex,

Thank you for a quick response. Are there any plans to have similar templates on Helix 3 where the logo and the menu stays in different rows.
I know we can play around with the positions, however the default setup that comes in with logo and menus in different rows has altogether a different taste.

I look forward for a wonderful input.

Hi Syed,

How about our latest "Newedge" template? It displays logo above and to the left of the main menu.

Alex,

Thank you for sharing that one. I've already tried that, but for some odd reason I am simply not able to load anything when I enable the template (see attachment)
I also remember that there are no scroll-bars in the Newedge template which is another down side for us.

Please help.

Syed H
