Hi!

I am working on a website and wanted to change a few things in the custom.css file (for example the color of the sticky header), but it just doesn't seem to work. The custom.css file was already created in the finance template I am working with, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I even tried deleting it and creating a new custom.css file, but still, it doesn't adopt any changes.

Could you please (quickly) help me, as I need to make these changes asap :p

do you happen to know how I can center the contact information that is in position top2?

For example, you can use Flexbox CSS.
Disable the outdated float property, declare a flex container, and play around with the justify-content property values.

Use the browser code inspector to try on properties and their values.

#sp-top2 {
float: none;
display: flex;
justify-content: center;
}

Hi,
make a simple test,
copy whole custom CSS code from custom.css to Custom CSS section in Helix template settings
if it would work = it means that your files are cached by server settings
if it would not work = your code is wrong, maybe mistakes.

It doesn't work, maybe the code is wrong. Do you know what code I can use to change the color of the sticky header? Or maybe at least how to center my banner?

Try it

#sp-header.menu-fixed {
background-color: #e32525;
}
