Resolved Body/Content is fullwidth per default

Hi there,

The giver template has a strange setting for the content, no paddings, it's fullwidth and has strange header where usually the featured image should be iI assume if there's any: http://2019.patrouillesuisse.ch/home/test

Without featured image the header has just a background and text.
I have no custom css for content added, therefore no idea where this is coming from.

Can you please help me to have a default article view so that is also responsive as it should be? Each article page is looking like this, : http://2019.patrouillesuisse.ch/events/rueckblicke/21-luftverteidigung-der-zukunft-oeffentliches-referat-von-oberst-i-gst-peter-merz

In your background image issue there is nothing no contect no image see the screenshot below:

And for width purpose, you can set a padding
Try this custom css


.article-info-wrap {

    padding: 30px;

}

Add this css code inside the custom.css file.
Note: Path towards custom CSS:
Extensions>Templates>Styles>
Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options.
Then find custom CSS within the custom code.

Thank you for your reply, I added the code, which is fine for the padding, but still the upper part with the pink empty space looks strange. It should be empty when there's no featured image and there should be an image, when I upload one. How is the correct default setting or CSS?

No, I want to have the article body in box layout, not full with. Event if in template settings the row for main body is set correctly, full width is not active: https://snipboard.io/ouCt1G.jpg

On Mobile View there also, each article, even if it's a privacy statement, there is a block (dark) part above the text, where usually the featured image is. https://snipboard.io/fPN4Tn.jpg

But when I don't have an image (not usual for privacvy text etc,), then I don't want to have any block above it. How can this be disabled too?

About header (logo+menu) - this should help to center it

Thank you, the code helped to adjust width and header with logo. Still the layout of a single article doesn't look nice. Is it possible, to have single articles https://patrouillesuisse.ch/events/rueckblicke/27-fachveranstaltung-von-der-fliegerischen-ausbildung-bis-zum-pilot-der-patrouille-suisse to be displayed like pages with page title like here https://patrouillesuisse.ch/datenschutzerklaerung with read page title header and title of article above?

I deleted this file and now it looks a bit better. Now the right articles module is below the article instead of on the right side correctly :-( https://patrouillesuisse.ch/events/rueckblicke/20-jesolo-european-airshow-2018

Do you have any idea, why this is happening on some articles?

I forgot about one thing.
1) Download and install raw Helix Ultimate template
2) Then please copy this file
templates\shaper_helixultimate\html\com_content\article\default.php
to
templates\shaper_giver\\html\com_content\article\default.php
