but the download section is still joomla1.7,any news?

The template is compatible with 2.5 but we are working to upgrade the quickstart pack with K2 support. Thats the reason for the delay.

I checked the updates in joomla but it still say's there is no update.
Or is it not possible to update through joomla at all?

Second thing is; What is changed? I modified my template and do not want to start over.

Third question (little off topic); How can I disable Top Panel? Cannot find a parameter in the template options?

Joomla 2.5 version of myEstate template is same as 1.7 version. we just update the quickstart pack with k2 and k2store support.

Just unpublished module from position 'panel1-panel6' in order to disable top panel.

So for my understanding there is no need to update to 2.5? Because then I need to edit all the files again?

I already knew that because I am on joomla 2.5 but am using the 1.7 template but I understand that you only updated the joomla os and k2 in the quickstart pack. And nothing is changed in the template files.
