Hi,
i went through the forum with this question, but did not find a straight answer.
What i want to know is simple: what is the css code for changing the color (for instance) of a submenu item? I know i have to add a custom class on helix menu option, but give it to me simple:
what is the code i am supposed to write on my custom css file to change a sub-menu color with the class "subsub" (for example)?
Thank you

You can post you'r url here and I can try to help you with this. Basically to change the color of you drop down menu you need to add this code:
#sp-main-menu li li {
background-color: your color;
}

Hi Guy,
what i want to accomplish is to change the color of a particular menu item, like i explained before.

I see now. To change any particular styling of your menu items you'll need to use the nth-child() in your css.
That way you can target a specific child in your drop down menu.
Read more about this here:
http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/sel_nth-child.asp

So, in your case, it will be something like this:
#sp-main-menu li:nth-child(2) li:nth-child(1) {
background-color: your color;
}

The site is working, please try:

Anyway, my question is about styling a menu item, it should be the same for any helix template.
thank you

I'm sorry but the site still won't load. See attached screen shot. It seems that my IP (or my region IP) is blocked.
And yes, it should be just like any other helix template but other helix templates don't have YOUR menu item classes, right? ;)

Guy,
there was a ip block but it must be solved now.
Anyway, if you could tell me what coding i should do to style a particular menu-item with the class i gave in the image, that should do it.
it should be something like that:

#sp-main-menu li.subz {
color:red;}

Thanks

Hi,

I'm sorry to tell you that but problem was not solved. Still can't access your site.
Tried to use HideMyAss to access your site from another ip with same result. Please check again with your host provider.
My region is the whole middle east and yes, there are some attacks coming from the less friendly countries in the area but blocking a whole region is nonsense.
