Resolved accordion must scroll up to read

Hi there,

It's a default behavior of Bootstrap Accordion and our template is following this behavior. So there is no option in our template to change it.

1. Go to the below file location & open main.js file
glamour_v_1.2/templates/shaper_glamour/js/main.js
2. Copy this js code & paste this code line on 36

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {

  $('.sppb-panel-heading').click(function(){

    $('html,body').animate({

      scrollTop: 0},

      'SlideUp'

    );

  });

});

Thanks for your reply. If you want this solution, then have to modify core file. If you agree with this, please let me know.

Note: In future if it break, then its up to you.

Process:

Go to the below location
plugins/system/helix/core/classes/menu.php

Find out this code

if (@$this->children[$pid]) $data .= $icon . '<ul class="' . $collapse . '">';//modified

Replace with this code

if (@$this->children[$pid]) $data .= $icon . '<ul class=" ">';//modified

I'm having the same issue but this solution don't apply, maybe because my template is Shaper_spectrum. Any idea?

I could even accept a more static behavior, like if I open a node, the last one doesn't close, in that way there would not bene any scroll up and the user could read the content.

the issue was the same exposed in the very first post. And the code suggested didn't work with my template. This is the code suggested:

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {

  $('.sppb-panel-heading').click(function(){

      scrollTop: 0},

      'SlideUp'

    );

  });

});

Any way for now, I've used Tabs instead.

But if you have the solution, it could be nice write it down here,

At the end after the Tabs there is the Accordion: if you open the first item, then scroll down and open the second one, you will see the content going up and you can't read it. This because the first content is long. That's why I use the tabs now. But if there is a way would be nice also for others.

In the back and the module that has the content is called: Catalogo Gomma siliconica.

Now I send you the credentials.

Here you can see the temp page that call the k2 category "Temp Gomma Siliconica" that calls the module "Catalogo Gomma siliconica Temp"

You can mess around with these thre parts, as you want.
